Due to an upcoming product launch, a client in the pharmaceutical space needed to hire 6 pharma sales recruiters. The specifications for the search were unique – the client was looking for candidates that could work 100% remotely and could be based anywhere in the nation.
The client typically uses their internal recruiters for this type of effort, but they reached out to the team at Tandym Group for an exclusive partnership because of our experience sourcing and screening candidates in this space.

By utilizing their national reach and internal resources, Tandym Group was able to tap into their network for referrals, which are widespread in the pharma sales recruiting industry.
Despite the challenges of the project, Tandym Group was able to screen 60 candidates nationally via Skype and intensive interviews within a period of one month. After each interview, detailed feedback was provided to the client. Ultimately, 25 qualified candidates were submitted to the client, and the client opted to interview 15 of them.
With the unpredictable timeline, Tandym Group maintained a sense of transparency with candidates by keeping in frequent contact due to the client’s evolving timeline. Many available candidates were often transitioning in and out of other contract roles, making this process more difficult.
Ultimately, 7 candidates were hired by the client, which was one more than the client’s original request.
